Learn offshore sailing from your home,

Offshore sailing is more than sailing for days on the ocean. It's important you take different items into account before you take a decision. Sometimes you take the good decision, but sometimes the nature doesn't follow our way of thinking.

Our game is based on 2 questions .

Question 1 : Where will be the ship on date X and time in LT or board time.
Depending on how long the trip will take, you are kindly invited to participate weekly. Weekly you will have some useful information given by our sail blogs and our spot satellite position system. Every Wednesday and Friday you will have an up-date around 00.00 utc. On Sunday the answer will be given, closing date and time is Saturday 12.00 utc.

On our sail blogs you will be clearly informed about, ship's particulars, board time , weather and useful info. Updated 2 times a week.

Question 2 : what will be our ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) at final destination?
Weekly you will be able to fill in the ETA or estimated time of arrival at final destination. This question will only be evaluated at the end of the game.

How do you receive points?

For question 1 :
You receive 10 points for 5 nautical miles accuracy.
Diminish with 1 point for every 5 nm different.

For question 2 :
You receive 10 points for the correct answer, diminish with 0,5 for every 12 hrs different. All your answers will be evaluated.

The final results will be published on our website together. The winners of the game will be personally informed. If you want to receive your final score you can send us a request with your name to info@msaonline.be.
